Leslie Meaux Pordzik is a 36-year veteran of the housing finance industry having worked in leadership roles at Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae as well as Freddie Mac.  Leslie is currently providing advisory and board services to a variety of industry participants, including Gatehouse Strategies where she is bringing her Ginnie Mae expertise to bear.

Leslie retired from Ginnie Mae in December of 2024 as the Senior Vice President in the Office of Issuer and Portfolio Management.  In that capacity, she had management responsibility for execution of the Single Family, Manufactured Housing, Reverse Mortgage (HMBS), and Multifamily Programs.  Additionally, Leslie’s portfolio included issuer, portfolio, and special transactions management, as well as risk monitoring, compliance, enforcement, and asset management functions. Leslie oversaw the program’s 400 plus issuers doing business with the firm representing an underlying aggregate portfolio of $2.6T.

Leslie provided critical thought leadership during the significant growth of the Ginnie Mae program.  She was instrumental in transforming and updating key risk, monitoring and compliance protocols as the housing finance industry continued to evolve since the Great Financial Crisis.  She also introduced the first performance scorecard to assist issuers in determining their business status relative to the key operational metrics.

A core focus during her 13-year tenure was the development of a comprehensive compliance framework that supported the Ginnie Mae guaranty that underlies the statutory authority of the program.  As such, Leslie is recognized as a leading expert with issuer/servicer resolution and recovery planning within the federal space and developed the policy in place today at Ginnie Mae to mitigate that risk with the largest issuers in the program.

Prior to joining Ginnie Mae, Leslie had an extensive career in housing finance with both GSEs, having engaged with and managed seller/servicers relative to relationship, change and performance management.  She spent twenty years at Freddie Mac managing both national and regional seller/servicers and another three years at Fannie Mae managing the Wells Fargo servicing portfolio as a senior leader.

Leslie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Seton Hill University and holds a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Duquesne University.
